This package includes the basic Misty Mountain Pond pattern which includes enough foundation papers to build the quilt displayed on the cover sheet to the left which is 80" x 80".
Bradley and Judy Niemeyer designed the foundation papers and layout for the Misty Mountain Pond. Bali Batiks designed by Hoffman fabrics were used to make this quilt Fabrics were chosen from a wide selection of blues, purples, and teals. A sewing technique called foundation paper piecing is used when sewing the pieces onto the foundation units. Curved piecing, traditional piecing, and applique skills are required to join the units after the foundation piecing is completed.
