• Appliqué Methods: This block reviews Cutaway Appliqué by Needleturn — teaching its unique methods for Points, Curves, and Inside Corners. Next, Separate Unit Needleturn Appliqué is taught on the tiny leaves.
  

• Ruching: Ruching as many of you know is patterned gathering. You'll learn the most common kind of ruching, "Shell Ruching", plus rectangular "Rake Ruching", a curved "Crescent Moon" ruching pattern, and variations of these patterns. • Embellishment in Thread: You'll learn how to embroider the finest stems, flower stamens, moss on the moss rose, and serrations on the rose leaves.
